- Dickens loved going for walks. In fact, he would sometimes walk up to 20 miles outside of town.
- Though at times Charles lived paycheck to paycheck, he ended up having full house with 10 children.
- His formal education ended at age 15. At that age, he because a “serious smoker”.
- Dickens edited a weekly journal for 20 years, wrote 15 novels, hundreds of short stories, and campaigned vigorously for children’s rights and education.
- Charle’s first love was Little Red Riding Hood.
